Shady Beach Campground is one of the oldest and most recommended campgrounds in Southwest Missouri! Perfect location on the Elk River for your Southwest Missouri vacation. Make your stay a memorable one. Reservations are required on weekends during our peak season (Memorial Day – Labor Day) so plan ahead!

Wherever you park your RV or pitch your tent, you’ll be no more than 200 yards from the Elk River!

A Beautiful Missouri Tent Campground

Our tenting area is perfect for anyone wishing to experience nature first hand. Besides grassy, shaded camping, you wake to cool morning air with the Elk River just steps away! Absolutely no better way to start your day!

Our RV section has 23 marked sites that have water and electric (30 & 50 amp) hookups and free Wi-Fi at select sites. We also have a few select spots in the tenting area that accommodate tents and RVs for our groups who prefer to camp all together.

These areas are booked quickly, so plan ahead. Onsite dump station is available.

Reservations are required for RV sites with two days paid in full for deposit on weekends.

Deposits on floating equipment is due at the time of reservation.
