Shady Beach Campground is located in Noel, Missouri, our cabin and house rentals are in the heart of the Ozarks, offering a peaceful escape. On the Elk River just north of Noel, in Southwest Missouri. At Shady Beach Campground we offer air-conditioned cabins, vacation home rentals, primitive tent sites and RV sites with water & electric. We also have 1/4 mile of beachfront for relaxing and swimming for our guests of all ages. We have select area for groups with mixed camping preferences. Be sure to book your Float Trip (required to camp with us from Memorial Day to Labor Day)! You can float the Elk River or the Pine River (if the water is running).

Do I have to book a float trip to camp at Shady Beach?
Yes. From Memorial Day through Labor Day, a float trip reservation is required in order to camp at Shady Beach Campground. This ensures we can manage river traffic and provide a great experience for all guests.
What kind of float trips do you offer on the Elk River?
We offer raft, canoe, and kayak rentals for floating the scenic Elk River. Trips vary in length, and we’ll help you choose the best option based on water conditions and group size. When the water is high enough, you can also float the Pine River.
What types of camping sites are available?
We offer primitive tent sites, RV sites with water and electric hookups, and even designated areas for groups with mixed camping preferences. Whether you're camping solo or with a crowd, we’ve got you covered.
